Well by going to the pump connector you are making sure the fuel pump wiring is good all the way to the pump without any break in the line from the fuel pump relay. Unbolt the retaining screws and remove the protective shield from the fuel filter. That's the publication that I have but it doesn't match the Wiring Diagram. So I took it apart to understand if it was working correctly.
I would love to test between A and the top of the fuel pump, but I can not do this without lowering the gas tank this weeks plan as my head is too large.
