I think there maybe some miscommunication. Have you experienced anything like this or know what I should tell my machanic to look at? As a result, the transmission might not hold in Park mode and might roll, or might not properly release when the transmission selector is moved out of park mode. Theses sprockets contain single and double referance marks. Hope that helps -Justin Stobb Hi I own a 2008 Subaru Impreza 2. These are Subarus sold in the lower 48 states and Alaska. This involves Legacy, Outback, and early Bajas, 2000 through 2001, some 2002 models, and approximately 45 very early production 2003 vehicles. If the problem is still present, it will either stay or come back on.
So I bought the speed sensor from them and installed it. If the plastic is not cracked, its fine. If Subaru has maintained the same procedures for a while, and you have checked fluids, etc. When the head gaskets were replaced the timing belt, water pump, and thermostat were all replaced too. I just had Cityside Subaru in Belmont replace the condenser and 0 rings, but it is still doing the same thing except that now it does not work at all.
Primary Use: Commuting to work Best All Around Car Out There! You may get through this year with just the o-rings but it may also leak out in a month, in my opinion because the hoses are so problematic its better to make complete repairs that wont let you down. Owners should make sure Subaru has their current contact information. I cant imagine a Good Subaru dealer suggesting any form of stop leak in any system you car has. How much oil should be added? If the arrow is pointing towards the back of the car, the console should be removed, and sensor pointed forward. Visually the clutch engages and fans spin. So relays are good, fans are good.
I recently purchased a 1995 Subaru Legacy. How likely is it that we really had both problems within 3 months of each other, as opposed to their just having made the wrong repair the first time? The level of resistance is usually high enough to create a field of interference which projects out from the glass. If no when did it start and you need to communicate that to Subaru the day it started, if yes why did you buy it? Always contact your local dealer. Has anyone looked at the Ac compressor clutch circuit? This is not mandatory, rather this service is being offered to enhance customer satisfation. I would at a minimum add some oil as well as refrigerant. Got on the freeway later, regular warm air started blowing out, and the temp gauge spiked to the top.
Once the break is identified, it should be repaired using the Permatex® repair kit instead of replacing the rear glass. Hi Dustin, I cant direct you to any such forum or post. Any ideas or advice as to why it will work sometimes and not other times? What are some troubleshooting ideas you would recommend? We keep a box of 15amp fuses and can swap in less than 1 minute once stopped…, but tired of this. I swapped the relay for the fog light relay which is the same spec and that made no difference. But I just want my ac fixed.
These instructions only apply to Outback models made after 2000. Currently, it runs fine at idle, but as soon as you rev it up it starts to squeak. It only works on either the lowest or highest settings. Pressure gauge read high, in the red…so I took it to an oil change place and had them test it also way into the red from the low pressure side. The system is going to require much more than 6 ounces to make it work if its empty, and most likely you have a leak that needs to be looked into. Check your harness grounds in the engine compartment near the area you have the problem. To find the leak test equipment is needed.
Car has been incredibly reliable. While idling my compressor only kicks on between 3-5 seconds every minute or so. Recharge and test again; same issue; 30-45mins in hot air blows. Contact your local Subaru dealer ; with any questions. Thanks, Perry Justin, I have a 2002 impreza wrx and the ac is working sporadically.
The ac was left on, even though the fan was blowing warm air. On the outer parameter are two relays. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. When it gets over 80 it only runs for about 5-10 min then it is hot air or outside temp air coming through. Does it act up all the time every day or is it more intermittent than that? The fix is reprogramming the transmission control module to automatically upshift. It would be better to have it looked at as its acting up, which might be hard. Always check your local dealer.
