We will see, I take it in today. They are barely cooperating at Hatfield Chevrolet and keep telling me it is not the heater core. I started having issues with the radio going black and restarting a few times around 30,000 miles. They are telling me there is no problem with the radiator or coolant tank and there is no coolant leak. It is a simple engineering error ,because they are not mechanics. Pop hood open to check reservoir was about empty again.
Four repair attempts is certainly too many. I tried other venues to find it but no luck. Do I give it another try or just take it to a local car shop who I am sure can replace my radiator…. With that said, there's no reason that you shouldn't call the respective department and tell them what happened. The most common engine you find in these automobiles remains the 1. Coolant reservoir cap broke when trying to take off. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000. No problems until about a year ago when my transmission was saying it was overheating we changed out the transmission fluid in it and it was burnt. Dealer replaced wrong part, then realized steel tube needed replaced. Second at 50 thousand miles the valve cover needed replaced. Please can some one help.
