The contact stated that the air bag light illuminated. I took plenty of pictures and will post them a little later. When I straightened out the car the air bag light was on. The airbag warning light flashes intermittently or 3. It was more of a pain than anything. I searched the web to see if anyone was having the same problem and they sure were. I don't drive it much any more because it's such a nuisance.
Nissan 370z Service engine soon or engine warning light - if your engine warning lamp is illuminated in your Primera, the fault should be diagnosed as soon as possible. Called Nissan service and of cousre for a fee they will diagnose the problem. They are only willing to give me a trade-in instead. If the procedure worked, the airbag light will not be flashing. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. .
Other car manufacturers constantly recall airbag devices but not Nissan -- 2007 Nissan roadster 350 has had a recall for an airbag issue. This should be completed three times. Ha Ha yes of course. Well tahts one of the nagging problems ive also been having myself. When i took it in the first time, the mechanic said if it continues to do it, they will have to replace the seat. You can take it to pretty much anyone to reset the code.
The wear area is weaker than designed and this may allow the airbag to not protect the occupant if and when required. Hello It is not recommend to repair the air bag system wire harness, but it is possible. About 2 years ago I started to have a flashing air bag light on for no reason. I contacted Nissan's consumer affairs dept. Now that represents about 20% of the value of the car! They said the seat cushion had to be replaced because it was the air bag sensor that was faulty. I am a second owner of this car that has never been involved in a wreck of any kind.
Repeat this 4 more times and you're reset. The warning light does not come on at all. Never had any problems other than tires, battery, brakes replacement over years. As I only use the car when I am by myself for fear of the passenger airbag not going off. If you see it flash I got a split second as your turn it off, you missed it.
This is why I love this forum Now I don't need to go to the stealer. Sounds like you've got it understood alright! My warranty would not cover the sensor or what ever they schemed to come up with. The contact was a passenger in a 2010 Nissan 370Z. Am I supposed to not start the engine till later? Upon researching the issue, it appears that this seems to be a common problem with these cars. I just take them off in any order but be careful not to touch the positive on the body or anything metal on the car or it will short out.
Different length of the flash is the code. Can't even sell the car with this problem. Turn the key from off to on. I might add that the passenger seat was still in like new condition. This is where it stands.
Passenger airbag sensor came on and shows the passenger air bag is off. Repeat steps 1 to 3 twice. Ask the dealer for the code and let us know. My experience with Glyn Hopkin to date has been pretty poor. Then do the airbag reset. It will stay on for a few secs. Once i had done it it just changed the pattern of flashing.
