Simon's painful past is put on display in a prank gone wrong. I watched the show when it aired, and have watched all of the episodes over again, and yes, it pulls no punches. Major Pedersen inquires about the circumstances of the shooting and the wounded soldier's friends' stories are inconsistent. They have gone through a lot of trials and tribulations while they work to patch up wounds.

There are some that have to keep their love lives a little bit of a secret due to the military rules that these soldiers must live by. Vans discovers he has a knack for more than just translation.
Pedersen questions the soldier's buddies about the circumstances that lead to the shooting, but their stories don't add up. But it also shows the dedication of the medical staff. But over the next 48 hours, as they deal with rocket attacks, falling shrapnel and wave after wave of wounded U. The television drama also has some love scenes going on. If they don't get it under control fast they won't be able to treat the incoming wounded. .
I was disappointed that there was only one season - this is a well produced program and one that I will want to watch more than once. Can the team put their conflict behind them, or is this the beginning of a widening rift between the doctors and nurses at the Role 3 hospital? It is less comical and a little more into ethical and moral situations. They both get off to a rocky start: it's humbling for both of them as Colonel Marks points out Rebecca's mistakes and tries to build Bobby's confidence. Rebecca tries to fulfill Flax's dying wish by rewriting the protocol for organ donation. This is a good solid series. Marines, Canadian soldiers, Afghan civilians and even a Taliban prisoner-they manage to rise to the challenge, even as they grow more and more exhausted. Rumours about Simon circulate when he receives an unusual number of calls from England. They have no idea what it is, where it came from, or how to stop it from spreading as their patients continue to deteriorate. Did Combat Hospital, step on too many toes? One medic fell in love with another. Reluctantly, she rises to the occasion and, with the team's help, orchestrates a shindig complete with Western theme, campfire, food, music, dancing and a mechanical bull.
Rebecca and Bobby participate in Pedersen's group therapy session, leaving Rebecca feeling vulnerable when she over-shares. This was a very good television program that did not receive the recognition and ratings it deserved. Unlike, China Beach, which was an after product of the Vietnam War, Combat Hospital, covers things and issues concerning a War that is still on going, and people don't wish to see war as it is happening. At times it is uncomfortable to watch as it portrays a combat hospital and therefore injuries and casualties of war. This show depicts a group of soldiers who are combat medics.
