The work ethic and amount of care for this film was undeniable and I am super blessed to have worked with actors who shared that. However, Mindy harbored a deranged obsession with Becca, wanting so much to be like her and even look like her. As one can realize, things get quickly out of hand and lust and acts of disgust prevail throughout the film. They have decided to go through an open relationship with their bestfriend couple,Max and Mindy, who are going through it because of their marriage crisis as well as both are almost headed to a divorce. She knew what she was doing, she just wanted a baby and I can understand that, but using her husbands best friend?????? But as they spiral into a world where anything goes, heartbreak and betrayal soon follow. They made out on the couch like all's well that ends well? Max had not heartbreak or shock that his wife was the one? Instead Open Marriage takes a turn into typical Lifetime melodramatics that significantly weaken it; the two couples find themselves victimized by a no-good rotter who sends texts with photos of them at Caligula. Our original couple seem to be stalked and lives are ruined by this mysterious person.
And Ron never wears a shirt when he's at home so we get to watch all that deliciousness walk around shirtless on the phone. And just like most of them being brought down in a Lifetime movie, the stalker is brought down by being hit in the head after threatening to kill the rest of the two couples. Upset over the arrangement ending, Mindy began stalking Becca and Ron, trailing them in her black car. It turns out to be one belonging to either couples. Tying her husband up at the bed scene and threatening all with a gun by film's end is a little too much to bear. Lifetime Open Marriage At Its a Glam Thing we are big fans of Lifetime television! I love reading relationship subreddits because of the piles and piles of drama, but one thing that has become a very common problem in recent years is people opening up their relationship and leading it to ruin. First, it was pretty obvious from early on that Mindy was the villain in the movie and she was the stalker.
Aside from that, they are also having a lot of career setbacks and disappointments with Ron being out of work due a back injury and Becca being severely busy with her double shift schedule as a nurse. Between no one being able to string more than 5 words together without pausing to some horrendously bad acting it was at times hilariously bad. We caught up with Nikki to ask her a few questions about her starring role in the new Lifetime film, Open Marriage which airs this Saturday, January 14th. Now that the spark in their marriage has been reignited, it does not come without a cost. On top of that, with Ron having been unable to work due to an injury, Becca has been pulling double shifts at the hospital.
Tilky, Jason, Kelly and I grew very close and we each put in a lot of time and effort into this movie. Even when it looked like Mindy might shoot Becca, there was no reaction or help from the men. It could have been a totally different experience had I had a different actor playing my husband. This costs Ron the city contract he was so desperate to get and leaves both couples floundering in a sea of mutual jealousy and recrimination, and it turns out the culprit is … Mindy, who it seems always had the hots for Ron and maybe a Lesbian itch for Becca as well , and who ends up literally holding a gun on Ron to force him into one last orgy and, when Becca is unwilling to go along, she fires the gun and Becca reaches for an odd antique clock with its own pedestal and clubs Mindy over the head with it, killing her. As such we also have infidelity, lies, secrets, low sperm counts and as the movie starts with one sexily dressed woman apparently dead on the floor we also have murder. Couldn't they just use fake blood like every other movie? The way she kissed Becca on the cheek at a lunch and the fact that she was buying her matching dresses was a dead give away. This sexy thriller tells the story about the marriage of Ron and Becca,a couple who is currently suffering as they never have had sex in months in spite of wanting a baby.
It was obvious at their last lunch date when all four were getting the text messages. The identification of the father becomes a mystery especially when Becca and Max started having an affair. She tells the man whom the thinks is the father before even telling her husband, but only tells her husband she didn't want to tell him until she found out there were no complications. Added to that,it also provides us more entertainment particularly for sex pervert viewers. Ron and Becca are reluctant at first, but the mere thought of a four-way with their good buddies turns them on enough they get it on for the first time in months.
The villainous femme fatale took photos of them at the club and uploaded them publicly, which caused an argument between the quartet. During their act, Becca grabs their clock and killed Mindy with a single blow to her head. Why would a woman need a paternity test unless she had been having unprotected sex and unfaithful? The film shows us a lot of Ron and Max in bathing suits and nothing else way to go! In the film's climax, Becca received a text from Mindy to meet her, and when she arrives, she sees Ron tied to the bed and Mindy emerging in a lacy white gown, while pointing a gun at her. Also, it was pretty easy to tell that Mindy was the one in the club with the mask on and the straight hair. And the ending was just tooooo much.
I just love this Movie. No wonder it is rated higher as compared with the Fifty Shades movies. Remember that this is a Lifetime film. Open marriage betrayal and a stalker who is obviously one of the people in the other couple. Before you browse my review and reach to a conclusion, i'd wish to tell you that i am a inflexible fan since childhood therefore of these reviews does not matter on behalf of me. To solve their marriage crisis, they have decided to go through an awkward solution: open marriage.
The acting in this movie was atrocious! Director, Sam Irvin was such a pleasure to work with and really knows what he wants and wants to get out of you. This is a ridiculous film only made watchable by the sexy hardbodies just frolicking around - I mean, I haven't had this much fun watching a movie since Magic Mike came out!! It is a serious subject and I give respect to those who are able to try something that might be out of their comfort level in order to save what is really important. So allow this to thrill you and to have that exciting envelope pushing feeling of Lifetime greatness. Will you us how you approached the material? This all becomes evident at the last dinner between the couples. I thought it was great movie, much more three dimensional than I was expecting. Next, I originally thought Max was really cool, but as the movie went on, it turned out that he was actually quite wimpy.
