Meg Leslie Bibb is Terri's best friend and she drove home the point that no one knows you better than your best friend. He refuses to tell her their destination. Terri offers her phone to help him but soon learns that no good deed goes unpunished as she finds herself fighting for survival when he invades her home and terrorizes her family. Worried that the noise will attract attention, Colin binds her hands behind her back and her feet with medical gauze while he goes to check on the car. The final confrontation between the starring and the villain enemies is breathtaking and in complete emotion. She realizes that she and her children are in danger, and she rushes to her daughter Ryan's bedroom, finding Colin playing with the child. Terri punches Jeffery in the face and walks away. Her only hope is to wait for the cunning Colin to make a mistake. She dials 911 for help. The movie's treatment of female characters is potentially offensive, as is its negative depiction of African-American characters.
When Colin discovers her, she attacks him, grabbing his gun and shooting him until he falls out of a window, dead. Jackson and Milla Jovovich's interpretation is top-notch , both of them make the typical couple from noir cinema. She greets the man with a hug and joins him at a table. Colin forces her to take the children into her vehicle and drive away with him. When the characters can't rely on stupidity to move the plot forward, a rash of dumb coincidences and cliches gets the job done. Major plot holes abound, and there is nothing to really make you care about any of the players.
A lonely mother, invites a handsome car accident victim into her home. She was just trying to be nice and do the right thing. Sometime later, a much more confident Terri returns to her career and has moved into a new house with her children. Terri tells her surprised husband the truth and has him call 911. The film stars , , , , , and Frank Brennan. Terri is supposed to be a criminal prosecutor who specializes in cases of violence against women, yet she makes one rookie mistake after another. She is at first apprehensive, but she gives him the phone.
It stars , , and. He kills another woman by smashing her in the face with a shovel. Colin follows her home where they argue violently, resulting in him murdering her in fury. However, it'snot his fault, there's just too mush going on. Terri realizes that Colin is not the nice person that he appeared to be.
Meg follows him into the garage, smokes with him and resumes her inquiries about him. Colin suggests that he is having an with Terri, but Meg doubts Terri would not have previously confided this. I went to the 2nd showing on the day the film was released and I have to say that the theater was pretty well populated. The parole board denies his release, claiming that he is not trustworthy enough. A secondary character is shown to be having an extramarital affair. She's shown in a sexy jogging outfit and notices a shirtless worker nearby.
Wounds are shown, but the blood isn't excessive. Jack finds himself being held hostage while the criminals decide what to do with him, and the leader's beautiful girlfriend Erin is left alone to watch Jack. Cinematography by Spanish photographer Juan Ruiz Anchia is pretty good and Jeff Beal's musical score is atmospheric. Another woman is shown in a revealing, low-cut dress. He asks her if she is all right, to which she is forced to reluctantly agree because Colin is alone with her children in her vehicle.
